Rock Point Wines

Del Rio’s best kept secret is our second label…Rock Point!

Named after the historic town our vineyard is planted on, our Rock Point wines represent both our roots and our love of the beautiful, unspoiled land of the Rogue Valley! The symbolic Rock Point Bridge is pictured on the label straddling the wild Rogue River that flows in front of our vineyard.

These approachable wines (both in flavor and price point) are from the same vineyard, same winemaker, and the same family owned and operated Del Rio Vineyards. Here are a few of our favorite Rock Point Wine scenarios:

  1. It’s a weeknight. You can’t bring yourself to open that bottle of Del Rio wine–dinner isn’t anything fancy, you just need a nice way to wind down from a busy day, and you need the perfect mid range wine. Pop open a bottle of Rock Point!
  2. You’re having dinner with a large group of people who aren’t major wine drinkers. They like it, but they don’t have that specific appreciation that you have for it. You don’t want to bring a fancy bottle of wine, but you still want to enjoy what you bring. Bring a bottle of Rock Point!
  3. You’re going on long camping trip, or even just a day hike–who doesn’t want a nice bottle of wine to enjoy outdoors? Haul along a bottle of Rock Point!

If you have ever found yourself in one of the situations above, or something similar, then Rock Point wines should be on your list.

There truly is a bottle for everyone in this lineup. Rock Point features a food friendly red blend, a summertime sipping white blend, and two Oregon classics: Pinot Noir and Pinot Gris.

Not only do I love all the Del Rio wines, but I really love the Rock Point wines too. I think Rose Joelee will always be my favorite, but both Del Rio and Rock Point Pinot Gris are both very very good.

I enjoyed the bottle of 2015 Pinot Noir that I brought home tonight. However I am not interested in polluting or beautiful state with your rubber corks. Please consider a change.

      Hi Adam,
Thank you so much for your comment! We actually have switched all our Rock Point Wines to screw cap closures which are recyclable.
